The 2008/2009 Heart of the Cascades
Yoga Teacher Training

The 200-hour Heart of the Cascades Yoga Teacher Training is open to students from all traditions and styles. Designed for those who wish to deepen their practice and/or become teachers themselves, this training will provide you with an opportunity to experience the many benefits of yoga through intensive study and practice. An indepth curriulum including yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, detailed postural alignment, and the art of teaching yoga will prepare you to manage a class of various abilities and conditions. Graduates are eligible to become Registered Yoga Teachers with Yoga Alliance (http://www.yogaalliance.org/).
Prerequisites for Teacher Trainees to enroll in this program:
- 6 months of Yoga practice
- Desire to complete the program as provided
- Ability to participate in-group as well as work independently

Program Details
When: Saturdays and Sundays (1 weekend per month over the course of 10 months)
Program Dates: 2008: Sept. 13 & 14, Oct. 11 & 12, Nov. 8 & 9, Dec. 13 & 14
2009: Jan. 10 & 11, Feb. 14 & 15, March 14 & 15, April 18 & 19,
May 16 & 17, June 13 & 14
Time: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Where: COCC campus (Mazama Studio and Mazama classroom)
Primary Instructor: Debra Sanford – E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance), Anahata levels 1&2 (500 hour certificate), Hatha Yoga (100 hour certificate), Silver Age Yoga (26 hour training), MS in Gerontology-University of Southern California.
Program Cost: $1929 - Space is limited! We are now accepting registrations on a first come first serve basis. Textbooks are not included in program cost.
Deposit: $400 to hold your space. Please attach deposit with registration.
Registration/Refund Policy: All final payments must be paid by August 29, 2008. Cancellations prior to August 29 may receive a full refund. No refund after 8/29.
