This nine-month course starts in October 2008 in Bend. It is specifically designed for working professionals wishing to apply sustainable concepts to the buildings they design, develop, and construct - buildings that are energy and resource efficient, healthy working and living environments, environmentally responsible and cost effective. Designed for Architects, Engineers, Home Designers, Tenant and Developer Representatives, Construction and Capital Project Managers, Building Operators and other Building Industry Professionals, information is presented in a highly interactive manner delivered by expert instructors and includes small group projects and field trips to see sustainable building concepts implemented.
The course meets monthly (October 2008 through June 2009) in all-day Friday and Saturday sessions at Central Oregon Community College and designated field trip locations. For specific dates, see the tentative unit schedule for 2008/2009 year.
