Nutritional Therapy Practitioner Training
                                                                                                 
This 14 Module course presented by The Nutritional Therapy Association, Inc. (NTA) is taught over nine months (fall, winter and spring quarter). Students are trained to conduct functional evaluations, balance body chemistry, and help others achieve vibrant health and wellness. Students will learn the role of diet, nutrition and lifestyle in health. You will learn to assess individual nutritional status and offer dietary counseling, as well as address nutritional deficiencies (
NTA course overview). Qualifying students will be certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association.

COCC is offering a new distance format for the 2011/2012 course to accommodate varied schedules. Class sessions will meet three extended weekends over nine months (see dates below). Students will review lecture content on DVD, participate in weekly conference calls, complete homework, book reviews, outside client/practitioner files, and pass midterm and final written and practical examinations.
