Home Energy Analyst Core + Building Envelope Course (8 days total) $1550
Meets Feb. 23, 24, 25, March 1, 2, 15, 16, 17, 2012 from 8:00am-5:00pm. Register by February 10, 2012.
This 8-day course covers material to prepare students for the Building Performance Institute's (BPI) 'Core' and 'Envelope' certification exams. Learn to use testing equipment to provide specific energy utilization information including calculating a home energy use 'score.' This course is a combination of classroom and field work for hands-on learning. Course content includes:

Becoming a BPI Certified Home Energy Analyst
The course prepares you for the certification exams (written and field); exam fees are not included in the course fee. Those working toward certification may need additional hands-on training and mentoring to prepare for the BPI field tests.
