Belly & Line Dance
Community Learning has classes to help you learn to dance for the first or second time. Celebrate a wedding, sneak in fitness, meet new friends, or connect with old friends. Dance classes are available for registration as an individual or with a partner. Check our Community Learning schedule often to see if we have ballroom, salsa, line dancing or tango classes available.
Hiking
Community Learning provides amazing hiking classes that take you from the Three Sisters to the Ochocos to the Cascade mountains. Our instructors are experts and will make each class a safe and pleasurable experience.
Outdoor Adventures
No matter what season, we have recreational classes. When you take recreation classes with Community Learning you’ll have an instructor who knows the trails, the geology, and the flora and fauna of Central Oregon. Take a skate or cross country skiing class, snowshoeing, avalanche training, and fly fishing classes! Our recreation classes will show you how to make the most of the great outdoors.
Golf
Ever wanted to take a golf class from a PGA professional? Now is your chance. Learn or practice the fundamentals of golf from a PGA professional and improve your game.

Flexibility
Most forms of dance have moves that require bending and stretching, so dancers naturally become more flexible by simply dancing.

Dancing builds strength by forcing the muscles to resist against a dancer's own body weight.
Endurance
Dance is physical exercise and that increase your body's endurance. Regular dancing, especially line and ballroom dancing, will increase endurance.
Sense of Well-Being
Dancing is social and socializing contributes to a more positive outlook, according to studies. Because it's also physical exercise, dancing reduces stress and tension giving an overall sense of well-being.
