Small Business Advising

Business advising is our specialty! Our advising is free, focuses on existing business needs, and helps you identify and make critical business decisions. Those looking to start a business should take the How to Start a Business class prior to their first advising appointment. Confidential, free one-on-one advising for existing businesses is available by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, use our secure registration request form or call (541) 383-7290.

Business Classes

Whatever your business needs may be, the Small Business Development Center can help. We offer a wide range of classes in topics such as start-up, management, marketing, software training, and web design.

Grant Information

The Small Business Administration and most other funding organizations do not provide grants or "free money" for starting or developing a business. Although there are some grants available, they generally are very targeted.

Sexual Harassment & Discrimination Training

As a small employer (not more than 50 employees), you can use this online training program for free. By special arrangement with New Media Learning, COCC has obtained authorization of use for small employers located in Central Oregon.
