High School Courses

$90 per 0.5 credit course + books

·         Students must be referred by a high school counselor.  Referral form at web site.

·         Students must be able to study independently in both on-line and paper materials.

Who are 16 and older AND

Who are exempted from public school attendance

 

12- Hour GED Practice Test Mini Course

$15

 

Take GED practice test and improve writing and test taking skills.   Make an informed decision about the need for further study.

 

 

GED/College Prep Study Classes

$30 per term + books

 

·      Prepare for the GED Exam

·      Improve basic reading, writing, and math skills

·      Complete activities in social studies and science

·      Individual and small group instruction

·      Prepare for college level study

 

 

Adult High School Diploma

$90 per half credit + books

 

·        Submit transcript from last high school attended to ABE office.  Evaluation cost:  $10

·        Total credits required:  24

·        Must pass entrance exams to begin coursework (instruction provided)

·        Must pass competency exams before earning diploma (instruction provided)

·        Must meet in Group Dynamics Cohort complete required course and other activities

·        Courses are online.  See list under High School Courses at left

·        Students must be able to study independently in both on-line and paper materials

·        College credit courses may be taken for dual credit.
