ADULT HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA PROGRAM (AHSD): If you did not graduate from high school, but need only a few credits to get your diploma, you may be a candidate for this program. The program is also designed to improve students' skills to college level for the future training and education they will need.
Cost: $90 per half credit, plus books and materials

Transcript Evaluation Worksheet--If you would like to evaluate your own high school transcript before you submit it for an official evaluation, click on the link for a copy of the worksheet to print for your use. The official evaluation is $10.
Transcript Request Form--If you have earned credits through the COCC High School Diploma Program and would like a transcript of those courses, click on the link for a form to print, fill out, and fax or mail to the Adult Basic Education/College Preparation office. Fee information is on the form.
Follow these steps to earn your diploma.
1. Call the ABE/College Prep Office at 504-2950 to speak with a high school diploma counselor. Ask for Dianne or Debbie.
2. Submit your high school transcript and $10 to the ABE/College Prep Office (2030 SE College Loop, Redmond, OR 97756) for evaluation.
3. Meet with your high school diploma adviser to plan your classes and do competency testing.
4. Register for the Academic Skills Improvement credit and pay $30. Attend a GED/College Prep class to work on reading, math, and writing until you meet the competency level score requirements.
5. Take the required Group Dynamics course in the Group Dynamics Cohort once you reach secondary level. Continue in the cohort until graduation.
6. Complete your remaining courses through distance learning with an online instructor. You will need access to a computer with Internet connection to submit assignments and take tests.
